Should not matter for Ham. Will cost the team some money.
I will believe it when I see it. Ideal chance to Help Nico at home :?

Lewis and his part of the team can`t make a mistake, it`s always deliberate decision just to hurt Lewis and his fanboys.

Phil wrote:I stand corrected then. I read the article on AMuS and simply understood it different. Now that I'm reading it again, indeed it seems that double yellows results in a red-flag.

Perhaps my ability to think logical prevented me from actually reading it right. I thought double-yellow = all lap times in progress are deleted, e.g. to ensure no one feels the need to continue to push, even on a drying track, would no longer exist without the headache of stopping the session. My oh my, F1 is indeed run by monkeys.

What about during the race? Double yellow = red flag too? Or have they still not realized that perhaps, double yellows need to be clarified for not only qualifying, but during the race too? I'm gobsmacked by the apparent inability to find a simple logical and coherent solution.
The quote Chrisdanger posted in reply to your previous post answers this. During the race they have the vsc or safety to car to use.

Pretty sure Kimi drives a Ferrari. And Vettel and Max set their times earlier. Ricciardo was the last to get a time on SS.

Mercs set it way early in the session.

Kimi was 1.5/10ths off the Merc pace which is daylight when the other 3 cars are separated by barely 100ths - however I'll take your point on when the times where set as I'm only just watching p3 now. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the NBC zero commentary version too, even Leigh Diffey is better than nothing. :(

The only missing part in this malicious mistake is that Haas driver wasn't Esteban, that's probably why the decision is still pending. Well done mates =D>

Don't worry, just a fine for the team. Must be the FIA trying to let Lewis win the title again.

Hamilton escapes a penalty, there's a surprise. How many already - three, four? I wonder how long Whiting will be carrying him this season. I bet it was all amicable, thanks for Spain and wishes of further successes

Ahhh Merc....
In Q1 they are fastest on Soft tires and in Q2 they try to drive as careful as possible to save the race tires....and still the fastest.

The best part is listening sky commentors reasoning why he shouldn't receive penalty.
