ana botin , now in command at santander following the death of her father , was previously running their uk banks , their most profitable division , profits up 40% this year; featuring , of course , a certain mr button in their publicity

wonder if , being a sponsor ,she has had a quick word with mr dennis on the subject !

Look out for drivers tweeting "good to be back in the UK" and others with pics from a beach on Hawaii.

Vandoorne confirmed he's at Mclaren HQ tomorrow.

Heard a rumour tomorrow is about a new major sponsor, not driver selection. Hope it's wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised if McLaren are organizing a media event to inform the press that they need more time make a decision.....
Irvine:"If you don't have a good car you can't win it, unless you are Michael or Senna. Lots of guys won in Adrian Newey's cars, big deal. Adrian is the real genius out there, there is Senna, there is Michael and there is Newey. They were the three great talents."

Maybe they will just explain why it is taking so long (of course in Ronspeak, so essentially they won't say anything) and give everyone a free Cookie for the wasted Time. ^^ I can't really rule out they are just trolling.

This thing has already surpassed the word annoying and I am not sure what is a more appropriate word.

However there are other authoritative reports that suggest the hold-up could even be related to Alonso’s contract. La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed on Tuesday that the Spaniard’s contract, although not yet announced, contains a unilateral exit clause.

The news will re-fire speculation Alonso still sees his future at Mercedes in 2016, particularly after the less-than-smooth and downright disappointing track debut of Honda’s new V6 engine recently.

And the latest reports do not stop there as Auto Motor und Sport said Alonso could be so alarmed by the recent Honda test in Abu Dhabi that he might simply choose to sit 2015 out altogether and focus instead on a Le Mans campaign with Porsche.

Hard to believe that Alonso did such thing at this point of 2015 season.

hamilton really is in the cat bird street , he can wait and see what happens at McLaren Honda as he is secure for 2015

alonso ? he has got to stick or twist unless McLaren agree to any contract he demands ...certainly not ron's way , he has suffered blackmail attempts from alonso before !

maybe Ron is just getting even with Alonso by waiting as long as he can before signing Button and Magnussen and telling Alonso to take a hike? :P

THIS! This has been my thought for quite some time now.

But then again, Massa (Ferrari) lost his WDC chance by 1 point. 1 point which he may not of lost if Renault didn't orchestrate crashgate to give Alonso the win.
