As stated previously at Austria Marko confirmed no upgrades for Silverstone on Austria channel ORF in an interview.

Marko: no upgrades planned for silverstone

The tone was a bit like "we don't need them so why would we?", which isn't far from the truth; Silverstone should suit the car very, very well. I think Silverstone may be where the car performs best
Spa bud, Spa will be F1 porn if you're a RB fan.
Last year RB didn't gain much when they were able to run lower. Their advantage was running softly sprung and their car still producing a lot of df across a wide range of ride heights. The same is true with the rb19 but a big part of df is sacrificed when they have to back off the ride height. So far this year where they've had trouble with the kerbs/bumps they've looked less superior (Canada, Australia) than at smoother tracks where they can run lower.

Spa is the ultimate test as it has the maximum vertical compression of the suspension across the calendar at eau rouge.. I think with this year's car they won't have such a large edge at spa with them being forced to compromise a little on ride height and suspension, unlike last year.

Idk just my thoughts
"So far this year where they've had trouble with the kerbs/bumps they've looked less superior (Canada, Australia) than at smoother tracks where they can run lower". Sounds exactly like 2022.

Spa is about efficiency and ride, both of which are improved from last year. I think Spa is the ultimate track for RB.

Interesting fact.

Overtaking Charles at Austria was Max's only overtake for position in 2 months (Miami was the last one vs Perez) Excluding sprint in Austria where he took the place back from Perez on lap 1.

Not sure when the last one was before that.

It was only really the VSC that ended that stint aswell.

If my maths is good, Singapore is also the earliest he can win the WDC aswell. Japan afterwards so most likely will be there again

So after ten? races Max has won 8 and Perez has won 2. Usualky 6 races is enough to win the championship if there is either no competitors or more than three close competitors. Max obviously is the 2023 world champion and he will easily break the record for the most wins in a season.

Didn't he overtake Sainz before Charles? Russell in Baku Sprint race. Lewis in Australia. Then obviously Perez in Miami. Doesn't feel like it's 2 months since the season started.

Horner's been making a bit of noise about the new PU rules and wanting to row back on them. Kind of suggests RBR aren't happy with their results to date. If they were seeing "warp drive" results, they'd be very, very quiet about it.

Signs of worries about what proportion of energy is elecetrical vs ICE. Perhaps RBT is a bit less advanced in the MGUK aspect.

Remember Honda took a few years to get on top if it.

Vasseur seems to be on the side of RB in allowing potential rule changes

It was implied that RB were slower than expected in Bahrain because they had to raise the car compared to testing.
And consider what happened to other teams when they had to raise their cars at spa... Merc were 2s/lap off red bull in quali and Ferrari about 6 tenths.

My point is that last year RB had such a big advantage at Spa because nobody else could back the ride height off but retain downforce in the same way. This year RB seems to gain more by running lower & others are able to run higher like RB (Merc, amr). So perhaps Merc, amr will lose less at Spa this time since they can make the same compromise RB did last year work

So let's see but I just don't predict the same extreme domination of spa last year again

The Red Bull Racing F1 team can equal the 35-year-old record of eleven wins in a row in the Grand Prix of Great Britain next weekend.
That record from 1988 is held by McLaren with drivers Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.

Red Bull has now won ten races in a row, with eight victories for Max Verstappen and two for Sergio Pérez.
The triumphal procession began in Abu Dhabi at the end of last year and has so far extended to last weekend's Austrian Grand Prix.

Verstappen is the designated driver to take the record.
The two-time world champion has won the last five races and after nine grands prix already has an 81-point lead over his first pursuer, his Mexican team-mate Pérez.
The Dutchman won once at Silverstone (2020), the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, when two consecutive races were held at Silverstone.
Last year he finished seventh, because he could not reach top speed with a broken underside of his car.
That would be a massive achievement. This team is crazy in it's entirety. Not only the car, but it's the whole package with drivers (more like Max only), strategy team, mechanics, engineers etc. which make it nearly impossible to beat them at the moment.
