Lewis Hamilton has won the inaugural United States GP at Austin after passing Sebastian Vettel at two thirds of the race distance. The German finished second while Fernando Alonso is third at more than 40 seconds of the leading duo, keeping his championship hopes alive.
The Austin track looks amazing I read an article where indeed it said that the CoTA design did indeed from its start intend to be a compilation of all the best features of all the best F1 tracks in the world. I found that interesting that the MAIN person in charge always drove for this track to be taken in this direction. But with its own key element the it's drastic elevation change. I'm looking forward to this new track more then any other New Circut that weve seen thus far in its inagural run. I'm also hoping we don't see many incidents that because of the blind turn that is exiting turn one.. Would be a shame to see them run into a big pile up. I hope Grosjean Maldonado chill it..

This is a simulation with an approximate Austin track. Those guys have made an attempt to predict the performance around the Austin circuit by mapping an "almost accurate" track into their existing simulator software.

I guess there is plenty of room for overtaking, not just through the long straight, but also on the broad curves. Expect lots of overtaking through the starting line and through first corner. I think it would NOT be easy for pole sitter to avoid attack from behind through first corner. Nice elevations throughout the circuit, makes it fun to watch.
It was a good experience running through the circuit on "F1 2012 CODEMASTERS".

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.
