With the Alonso overall photo on twitter, I think the livery could well be something like this. I think there will surprisingly more black on the car than a lot of people think.

Didn't Macca say the Corporate Colors don't necessarily represent the Car Colors? So i wouldn't read to much out of the Team Kit.

An all black livery for testing (unlikely) might be to hide things as it is difficult to see properly

No offence to the concept livery creators, but I think the BAR-Honda looks the best. Talking of BAR-Honda, their pre-season test cars did sometimes use an all-black livery (e.g. see the (clickable) image on this page http://www.formula1.com/news/interviews ... /2841.html).

I remember when Macca had black and red merchandise colours a few years ago and everyone thought the car was going to be black and red.

It's irrelevant. In fact i'm sure we knew the merchandise colours were going to be white and black from a month or so ago when it was released on the team website and the same discussion came up.

I know many people want more old style liveries, but hell, the black McLaren Honda is so cool.



Imagine it with pure white sponsor on the sidepods, and white lines maybe on the nose. It is a livery that fits with both Mclaren and Honda too. And remember, Honda is not here to repeat history, but to make history.

And if Mercedes goes away, Fernando Wayne can always shoot some missiles. All advantages.
