Russell becoming a threat. His sector one is 1.5 tenths quicker than HAMs.. Slightly different setup? Or driver style?
He is running the new front wing still right? While Hamilton is not.

Let's see if engines get turned up in these next sessions now.

Edit: yep getting close to the 1:10s now

Decline is happening. His season has been littered with errors, and now just a lack of pace

This narrative still going? Engines are the same all session now. It's all track evolution and drivers pushing harder.

HAM had a better S1 on their final Q2 laps. Ultimately, it's all about building confidence and HAM must have lost some after his FP3 incident.

Pole to be between the 2 McLarens, Max and Leclerc.

Experimenting with setup? If it was decline it would have been linear but this seems like a sudden drop...
The cheapest sort of pride is national pride, every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud adopts, as a last resource, pride in the nation to which he belongs; thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.

There has been 20 years of narrative describing Alonso being one of the most adaptable drivers, which I think he is.

He’s not slow at all relative to most racing drivers, but results do indicate he’s slowing down relative to the rest of the F1 field.
