Well this time Webbo made the right call and reaped the rewards - Vettel is usually quite superb in the wet but even he lacked the balls to go for the inters.

It's reminiscent of Jenson opting for slicks in Melbourne and winning the race as a result.
Good move by Webber. He did it this time. He has the speed, but is sometimish. Hope he can get some retribution from the last race.
Does he have to start on the inters or he can switch back to full wets if the conditions tomorrow are really bad?
For Sure!!

Remember Monza 2008, Q2 ? Same stuff. And last weekend in Melbourne was also similar. Sit in the pits until only 6.5 minutes is left on the clock, and then go get stuck in traffic. And now this. If he can't learn from his mistakes, Lewis I'm afraid won't get any better. And he has a lot of potential, which in the end will be wasted. Waiting in the pits and not going for a lap at the start just to make sure everything is in place is complete and utter nonsense. McLaren and Lewis share the fault.

JUST GO OUT AND DO A LAP GODDAMMIT !!!
Mclaren get on my nerves sometimes, why do they make things so hard?!?
They need to get off their high horse. They never gave their drivers and easy win, never!
What do they expect button to do tommorow? His setup had an unstable rear end, and he doesn't look like the type of guy who would enjoy fighting through 16 drivers to get to the front. Lewis has it just as bad battling 2 ferraris.

Hope for dry start and heavy rain as soon as the mclarens comes around the pit entry [-o<
For Sure!!

As a red flag seem inevitable at some point in the race, I thought I would share the "Felipe Baby" song from last years race (to be viewed whilst waiting for the track to clear...)

I believe that when it is wet the "you must start on your qually tires" rule is thrown out the window and you can start on the appropriate tires for the conditions.

You are correct! Once its declared wet you start on the wet tire of your choice!

Not enough to simply "be wet". It must be officially declared a "wet race" in order to escape the tire restriction.

Hello everyone! Looking forward to and hoping for a good race today. I do share the same view with many forum members here, that it will be a "messy" race, an eventfull one for sure. But, I hope and prey that most of the "mess" doesn't take place in the first lap itself, on the first corner [-o< .
Anyways, how is the weather there and what will it be at the start?! Please post updates if anyone has any info.

As for predictions, I think RBR are favourites for P1, no questions about that. After the two opening races if RBR would have wanted to redeem themselves, I think after yesterday it has been handed to them on a silver plate. Wet race or not, one of the two cars "HAS TO" finish first today, which one will, is a little hard to predict. Probably, only Rosberg has a slim chance to spoil it for them (barring any reliability mishaps in the RB6), but he will have to do it in the first (few) lap(s).
Ferrari and McLaren !! well,.., a lot depends on weather, and the first lap (or corner!!) for sure, but they surely will finish in the points.
Also, it will be good to see Force India do well, they deserve it. Maybe Hulkenberg will also score his first points, what a talent!

May the best racer win! :)

Force India have a very good chance of scoring some good points in this race....

the weather update as of now says that no rain expected during the course of today's race....

its going to be a very interesting one for sure....

Hope Schumacher moves up the field as there are some slower cars in front of him.... i hope he finishes in the podium today....

Problem for Pedro De La Rosa's BMW Sauber-Ferrari? Appears to have stopped on the pit exit.
EDIT: and again at turn 3.

I think some kind of engine problem. As he needed the strange starter stick to get it going again.

Also: I like how the Red Bull men were "guarding" nothing for some TV time haha
