And Alonso last race.Just_a_fan wrote:Interesting that it appears that you can now run others off track with no penalty. Last race was Schuie, this week Nico. Or perhaps the stewards are just feeling sorry for Mercedes...
it is those small mistakes that separate the greats from the averageJust_a_fan wrote:Christ, it was a tiny misjudgement - he was fully on the brakes as evidenced by the fact his inside tyre was locked up. He obviously gave Massa plenty of room but misjudged how slow Massa would be in to the corner.
Massa needs to stop whining about Hamilton's driving and sort his own speed out too. I guess Massa knows his career is over and he's not happy about it and he's looking for people to blame...
Yes he is average.vall wrote: it is those small mistakes that separate the greats from the average
I think this pretty much shows how his haters react ("all his fault always") than his fans. Stop baiting with words like fanboy pls.vall wrote:this has been the case (his fault) all year, but yet his fans failed to see itbeelsebob wrote:You can? What happened was irrifutably his fault. Yes, it's not like any other of the greats ever made small mistakes...vall wrote:it is those small mistakes that separate the greats from the average

I didn't note down how far behind the cars were, I only remember +17 for the one directly behind him. Why didn't more teams use less pit stops and harder tires?
Also how did he get 43 seconds on Di Resta by the end in so few laps? How did Webber lose 27 seconds to Vettel and how did Alonso lose 26 to Webber who was behind him right up to the last pit stop? Crazy race. Red Bull so dominant it hurts.
Seemed the only logical explaination to me, but I remembered something similair happening before with Di Resta and someone else, and that wasnt a penalty if im correct. The Stewards really need to be more clear on why the penalty is givenTraction wrote:He got the drive through because his actions resulted in Massa losing position. Yeah, I'd have to say that's pretty much the best way to sum up the race. I find one thing interesting though, Button almost never matched Vettels fastest laps throughout the race but somehow at the end he was suddenly a second faster than him.Stunning stunning drive by the WC! great race management, great control and awesome to see how well he handled the back markers and the charge by Button. Stunning drive by Button as well... Alonso to me was below par...Webber in a good place thirdn...Hamilton..a well deserved 5th after yet another race mistake.
