This is fastest lap, not outright track record.

Pretty sure that's a race lap.

Can someone just work this out, I watched the timing on the Qualy and Lewis went Purple in all 3 sectors on his last run.
Yet if I add his fastest sector times up, it is faster than hos pole lap ?

Fastest lap ever done on this circuit was a 1.29.527 by Mark Webber in FP4 in 2005. So yes, we have a new outright lap record. =D>

Wow, that was a stella lap from Hamilton.

Under pressure and he pulled it out just when it really mattered, and beat the old lap record.

Who cares? Race pace is still crap.

Merc tuned down engines to ensure Ferrari goes out for another lap in Q3 and then steamrolled them.
Ricciardo stomped both Williams! Can't wait to see the Renault engine upgrade in that car. Button and especially Kvyat will have their last season if they continue to disappoint... and again great job from Wehrlein.

but they had easily put more heat into their tires under direct sun, anyways supreme lap from hamilton in the car with a ton less aero than the decade old car.

Q1 - worked ok again
Q2 - with 5 mins to go Hulkenberg was the only car on track, then nothing at all
Q3 - at least Ferrari went out for a 2nd run but the track was then empty for the last 3 mins

Come on FIA, it's not going to work

you must mean Mercedes does what they always do and run their qualifying mode in their final run of Q3 like they always do.... the race and race pace is a completely different story not to mention having to keep first and second right after the start.

Q1 worked OK? It was far from that.
