Alonso: "So i have to let him pass? Really, you're stupid guys"
"Quindi bisogna farlo lasciarlo passare..veramente siete degli scemi eh..mamma mia ragazzi..
Please don't spread false information, he said geni, not scemi, he never insulted the team, he was sarcastic about the fact that the team got the timing wrong.Hail22 wrote:Fernando Alonso slightly agitated:

Hopefully it rains mid way through rather than at the start...as it would make for some interesting racing. =D>BlackSwan wrote:'morning everyone... this is the actual situation at 8 km from Monza. Very cloudy and the temperature is for sure much lower than yesterday.

Surely there is no difference between sarcastic "genius" or honest "idot"? Both of them are insulting, both convey the same message of frustration, both blame the team.f1universe wrote:Please don't spread false information, he said geni, not scemi, he never insulted the team, he was sarcastic about the fact that the team got the timing wrong.Hail22 wrote:Fernando Alonso slightly agitated:

I would think so, i can´t imagine FIA allowing teams to run around with broken aero components.komninosm wrote:Was it fixed for the race?
I was using the F1 timing screen yesterday and on the lap that Sutil blocked him, Hamilton's sector 2 time was up around 10secs (~38s instead of ~28s). There has been no mention of this and something must have happened to lose so much time. Nothing was shown on BBC TV. I suspect that the Sutil block (what less than 1sec?) is being used as a bit of a smokescreen.SectorOne wrote: He made a mistake. several actually, some can have been caused by the first mistake damaging the car but nonetheless he took full blame even though we all saw Sutil blocking him.
The thing you are missing is he did not block him on the lap he was on, it was the lap he was about to do.NottsF1 wrote:I was using the F1 timing screen yesterday and on the lap that Sutil blocked him, Hamilton's sector 2 time was up around 10secs (~38s instead of ~28s). Is there anywhere to review the sector times of final qualifying? (New here so apologies if I've missed something). Or does anyone know what really happened (spin, off the track?)
