maybe they originally had a gray orange black livery ready to go, but then force india beat them to it. and now they had to redesign the livery so they'll have it black for the tests? i think this is possible.

It seems the livery isnt something they can decide upon (where've we heard that before!). With Ron's mind changing, the latest word is Silver-Red, but with this indecision, its probably being resprayed again ahead of the launch! #WhoKnows

ok so, large cooling exit at the back and no center beam on the RW. raised monocoque. intake hole seems to have a seperate section for cooling something. front suspension looks neat and tidy.

i like the nose. this is the prettiest car so far of this season i think. but look at how bare and plain it looks without all the sponsors!

looks very conservative. might not be the fastest car this year. well atleast it looks good.

what an anti climax. Livery looks awful, really really bad. Looks like they can't decide between last year and the vodafone era so they just mixed it

If I was at Honda I wouldn't be happy with this livery. This is Mercedes era colours. Not Honda. The silver should be white.

Was looking forward to this, but from what I just saw this will be a depressing season.

The car, at first glance, looks like each design team worked independently, then they just bolted it together. Like there is no unifying concept.

Interesting that one of the major logos on the car is KPMG (rollhoop, replacing BOSS). Probably need some help with the books given lack of a major sponsor.

And when the official launch picture is this pathetic... Wow, seriously? Even the photoshopped shadows are second rate.

Very disappointing for a loyal McLaren follower.
