Despite an unusual race, and finishing just 9th, Lewis Hamilton ended the title fight by sealing his fourth F1 World Championship at Mexico on Sunday. With his third title at Mercedes, the Briton joins Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel in the club-of-four.
Well... to optimise their position, surely Ferrari should still have Vettel pass Raikkonen, because if there was a late failure or a DSQ for one of the cars ahead, then it could make the difference. Not saying it WOULD, or that I think it’s the sporting thing to do, but that’s hardly stopped Ferrari before.
Deserved Championship for him and Mercedes. And a deserved win for VER. Fastest driver of the race was Vettel but we don't know what Verstappen had in spare.
