Norris over driving in qualifying is becoming a bit of a reoccurring theme.
Yes, he needs to chill..

LEC overdrives as well but at least he gets it right most of the time, and when he does, its great to watch.

Not efficient, but damn is it pretty.
.
Yes, what do you mean? I want to know too.
Going through the corners sideway doesn't work in an F1 car. But looks pretty...
Yeah pretty much.

Peter Windsor made the interesting observation about Norris. Piastri is not a suitable team mate. Piastri threatens (and succeeds) in out qualifying Norris. Consequently Norris over drives & thus amplifies the issue. With a less challenging team mate he would actually do better.

Piastri under Webber management could be heading for RB eventually.

I don`t think so. For me Piastri comes for Norris in the exact right moment in his career. This year Norris is more or less comfortable faster than Piastri in Qualy and Race but he know that he must become better in the next 2 years to be still on top. This mistakes from Norris comes not from Piastri, it comes from getting VES and a race win.

I think Ferrari and alpha tauri. Tsunoda might not fall back very far if their pace is similar to Mexico/Brazil. He only needs P6 right?

Yes, but SAT has a terrible bad strategist. Strange tire choises, sending drivers into traffic after a pitstop, etc.
Everything depends on the strategy today. Yuki always takes good care of his tires, but the strategist doesn't listen to him. :x

Is there an overview somewhere with the available tires per driver?

It should be difficult to do a one stopper (apart for RB) ?

yeah, but it's not really of much interest today. More or less the same for everyone (but Alfa Romeo)

going by the tires they kept, I'd expect M-H-H for most, yeah.

Ferrari is typically worst on hards vs mediums, which is uncommon, but they never try anything outside the box...
