willing to take an Avatar change bet?

If Vettel finish above 5th I get to pick your avatar until Hamilton wins a race. If you win You can our choice of mine until your choice of the top 5 drivers wins a race.
I wouldn't be willing to take the bet, but I can see where he's coming from. RB's race pace has traditionally been rubbish relative to their qually pace... I could believe 1. ALO 2. MAS 3. HAM 4. BUT 5. VET tomorrow... but I wouldn't be on it by a long shot.

If Vettel doesn't win he'll get a podium for sure. He hasn't finished lower than 5th since Belgium last year.

with Vettel on pole and the mclearns unable to come close in qualy. RB race pace has been compromised by trying to push it on tire changes the car is bloody fast.

Im genuinely annoyed that Webber had no KERS at all for Qually again (and no FP3 running at all) as he was genuinely quick in Qually, with KERS he would have made it a Front row for RBR as it's worth 3/10ths and Webber was only 4/10ths slower than Vettel who had KERS.

Webber looked very fast on Saturday. It was a difference maker. He has a good chance to have it for the Sunday though, that is when they award the points. I mean they are working on it. Think positively. He is starting far enough up the grid to fight for the win if they get it sorted out.

weather looks likely to have an effect
odd from McLaren , whitmarch saying before Q that they had set up towards wet settings , button saying afterwards that they hadn't , were just slow

Except that the McLarens were able to come close – they were within 4 tenths – in past races this year where they've been that close they've pushed the bulls all the way. Combine that with the fact that the McLaren team have already said they're running too much wing for qually, and I could see the above result... but I do agree, not a likely one.

Edit: just checked a bunch of weather forecasts... McLarens chance of being right seem to have gone up a bit – 70% to 90% chance of precipitation depending on the forecast you look at. Some saying thunderstorms.

looking at the time improvements from Q1 to Q3 RedBull was shaving off 1second ,Ferrari 6/8tenths ,Mercedes 1.1seconds,and Renault also 1 second and Mclaren only 5 tenths ...
So somehow the gains are not constant.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

The Boss? What has Schumacher got to do with anything? Sure he used to be unbeatable in the wet but how knows now?

You are clutching at so many straws there, you've run out of hands. ALL drivers have accidents now and then. USed to be pretty common in the practice sessions back in the good old days of spare cars and unlimited tinkering time for the mechanics. However, after Monaco we all know who the king of in race crashes is don't we (I think he got a hat trick)?

I wouldn't read anything into Vettel's scrapes, if you are not reading anything into your driver's antics in Monaco.

That probably tells us a lot about who's going to get heavily penalised by the EBD rules, given that the biggest change there will be putting the engine in a higher but hotter mapping.

Like if you were able to call drivers as you wish...

The official FIA nicknames are Doctor Boss and Mini Boss.

Now, how did Sebaustin Powers managed to smash another pole? This guy is groovy, baby!

Meanwhile Number Two ended in... what? Seventh place?

Hoping for a wet race today or to at least rain at some point

It's the one thing that hasn't been used yet, the wet tyres. Could create a fantastic race.
