I had a suspicion that Ferrari were trying to be too dam smart with the slip streaming. Alonso spending too much time thinking about getting his car behind Massa and getting a toe, would have been far better if he had just cracked in a flying lap. He would have been further up with his quali 2 lap. Massive cock up.

Must have a problem or made a mistake, maybe got the tyre temperatures wrong. He / Ferrari really stuffed that up. Should have been 3rd at the absolute minimum.

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

What an opportunity for McLaren to get themselves back into the title fight in both championships!

Does Alonso now have to fear being replaced by Adrian Sutil?

McLaren look very strong after they brought their upgrades to their car. Damn, they're good :)

Aborted his first lap and then royally screwed up the first chicane on his only shot at a hot flying lap.

On the TV he said something broke in his first attempt. Did a second attempt just because. He looked very disappointed.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.
