You must be kidding. This drive or rosberg isnt even close to any of hamiltons recovery drives this year muchless bottas. Nothing special from nico today. Nothing at all. Pretty straigtforward no stress no suspense no dificulty. P2 was a givenfrom the pit crew told him he looked good for a podium. Result was pretty plain and expected from there.iotar__ wrote:- Great comeback race against the odds by Rosberg, as good as Hamilton's Austria or Great Britain, if LH had some Lowe's "next level" servicing substance contamination or gearbox failure he could have won this
- Ferrari equalised Alonso backwards through pitstop and he still finished 15+ s in front of Raikkonen
- Kvyat is really a supertalent deserving best cars, this race proves it. Same for Magnussen slower than Button (again) and Ricciardo who went backwards at the start (again) and couldn't get past Alonso.
- Perez = driver of the race, fighting faster cars and evil fuel consumption which is strange because according to Todt problem doesn't exist
What worries me is Lewis wins the next 2. Nico finishes 2nd and crashes out in the other. Comes to the final race, Lewis runs away in abu dhabi, breaks down, hands Nico the win and the title.Shrieker wrote:Hamilton just needs 1 more win out of the remaining 3 races and can finish second in the other two to clinch the title regardless of what Rosberg does.
That is pretty bizar..F1NAC wrote:Anyone saw this? Todt refused to shake with Alonso?

Because of spygate, but its utterly unprofessional from Jean Todt.NathanOlder wrote:Unless JT just missed him. I cant see why he would blank him
I disagree. Nico was too tight, he'd've had to brake a lot earlier to make the corner. Hamilton would've got him on the cut back. Hamilton only just kept all four wheels on the racing line and he broke well before Nico and was in the best position to take the corner. I think it was quite a desperate move by Nico, all or nothing.henra wrote:And totally unnecessary. He had the inside line and was alongside. When I saw Nico trying a move so late in the braking zone, I knew he wouldn't make the corner.
Rosberg's race after that big mistake was very good. Not a single sign of locked wheels even when he was doing his sprint to get to P2. Seems he can only drive error free if Hamilton is not directly behind or in front of him.
Even this year, Lewis has pressured Nico into mistakes multiple times. Nico cut the chicane twice in Montreal, twice in Monza and went wide in Austria.turbof1 wrote:Lewis looks to have the mental upperhand now. I can't imagine Rosberg wrecking his tyres in the first lap when there was less title pressure on it.
On the other hand, Lewis has succeeded in the past pushing his competitors into making such an error. He places his car in such a way on the outside that it forces the car on the inside to brake very late, often too late.
