Maybe Red Bull are planning a 2 stopper going option prime, I'm guessing the option is probably good for 12 fast laps and the prime 20, and more if you manage them, afterwards they hit the cliff. The thing is the super-soft is clearly the faster tire so the question becomes will a fast 20 lap stint on the softs be faster than a 20 lap stint managed on the super softs, or will a 36 lap stint on managed softs be overall faster, for that to work you would not be able to use an aggressive strategy at all because you'd have to push the super softs for at least 20 laps. The sane choice will be to have an aggressive start, a managed middle stint so that you can have an aggressive final stint on the primes
Furthermore it seems tomorrow is going to be a pretty cold race, this might help alleviate tire wear, I'd love to see Perez or Raikkonen do one of their late race charges up the grid, I miss those.
