Imo its same with him as its with some of his fans. Since he is ahead in points table may be he feels he deserves to be treated as No.1 drive.
I understand his view "I am 4th, he's 3rd, I'm more at danger" but 1) that's a bs excuse at that time, and 2) it's the way the team works and everyone should respect that.Shal_Leg16 wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 16:47Imo its same with him as its with some of his fans. You are acting like McLaren's "one" upgrade wasn't an entirely new car... either way, who knows what the setup is geared to do, they may have sacrificed some qualy pace to protect the tyres.
Weve literally been half a tenth of them. The gap was 0.2s today. Front limited circuits have been our weakness all year, we've definitely made steps forward in this regard. McLaren were rapid in Barcelona aswell.
Imo they were on course to copy RBR long time back just like AM. Its just that it clicked all together from last 2-3 races. Its not a single upgrade.
It depends on how big the offset in tyre deg is compared to McLaren. We can pretty much attack them on any straight quite easily.
