Not sure if that includes Korea of course, I'm just mentioning it.
I believe on Scuderianet there was talk of a revised package for Alonso/Massa for the Korean GP with the Singapore proper to arrive for India.

Now if they're truly bringing a large update for India that could lead to a possibility that some of that packages parts will be on the 2013 car...
Ferrari have two fresh engines for each driver ready to put in the back of their cars! McLaren have used all 8 for both cars and the rest have used 7 engines! I think this championship may come down to fresh engines left! Ferrari will take a fresh one here and another at Abu Dhabi or more likely Austin. When the teams say anew engine is worth as much as 3 to 4 tents this side of the season.

Pic has used 8 and blown 2 engines! So for every extra 100km he does on the 6 remaining blocks he will loose 25hp on each of them I'd recon that if there's a wet race it may be advantageous for him to go to the pits, change set up and his engine and gearbox as well for a free change of both!

Lets see what happens, Yegoman has a habit of breaking engines, look at Vettel in 2010, and I'm sure there was a couple last year as well!

Lets hope Grosjean takes out both Alonso and Vettel at T1. Hamilton wins and KImi takes second. That means all 4 (Vettel, Alonso, Kimi and Hamilton) will be within one race win from each other with 4 races still to go. It'll be a CRAZY finale. :D

Aren't Lotus bringing updates here? I remember reading a Kimi interview where he said Korea will be a decisive race for the team, or something on those lines. It will be good to see Kimi, Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton all in the running for podium/victories.

As for qualifying, there might be a new strategy unfolding here, whereby teams predict where Grosjean might qualify and try not to place their drivers near him

I think 3 or 4 tenths is a lot more then reality. I've read that it's about one tenth, if that. Might be useful in Korea though.

They're a lot further off the pace than that in quali, even more than 3 or 4 tenths, but what I think it will really take is what they're proposing to bring: new parts to every race. The difference being, they require them to actually work. They were confident of a big step in Singapore and it never materialised, so it's not so much a question of what the will bring but if it will work as expected.

Off course. There are two decisive factors in this year's championship. Pirelli tyres and Grosjean.

Apart from Hamilton in Valencia, he hasn't made life difficult for any other championship contenders. So I chose to count him out as of now. Just recalled, his duel with Alonso at Singapore was good to watch. Both fought wheel-to-wheel without touching once. GOOD driving by both!!

Kimi's approach of the Korean Grand Prix:
What do you do to learn a new circuit?
KR: I drive it.

Rest of the interview here.

If the new exhaust works as it should and Grosjean wakes up, Lotus might have a decent result.

Better pray then that GRO is on form & qualifies at least a couple of rows ahead of MSC.

I feel the law of averages, the lunar cycle and their respective biorythms will see a reversal in Korea -- GRO's due for a fairly quiet race, while MAL's overdue for another red mist wipeout.

I just hope & pray that the top 3 race finishers aren't crazy enough to try & do the Gangnam style on the podium. [-o< #-o

Dnt trust Hamilton on that. He'll be extra motivated to be on the podium because of this very reason :D

Ferrari will have a big update for India, and the updates will work because they are from Toyota Wind Tunnel ( Mclaren use this windtunnel too )

I was going to put Michael on the podium, then I have seen that we will "enjoy" a sunny weekend. #-o

So I must be realistic:

Qualy:

1. Vettel
3. Hamilton
3. Webber
4. Alonso
5. Grosjean

Race:

1. Vettel
2. Hamilton
3. Alonso
4. Grosjean
5. Schumacher

Dreamed race:

1. Schumacher
2. Vettel
3. Maldonado
4. Grosjean
5. Alonso

My personal favorites are turns 7 and 8, as well as 11.
