Don´t be too pesimistic yet, Alonso said they have a lot of potential to unlock even without using tokens, so hopefully they will use some of that potential here... they should at least if that´s true
Sure they have potential to unlock, but I dont expect to see this happening in only a few days. Montreal requires a powerful engine and Honda does not have this, maybe in the future but not now.

Mercedes will be the favourites here again but lets not forget what happened last year, so they must be very careful with the brakes. Anyway I would like to see Ferrari putting them under a great pressure, especially in the straights. But Arrivabene has said that the slow corners dont suit Ferrari, I can see this point but I am not in Ferrari so he must be right.

Poor Alonso and Button, they are going to suffer SO MUCH...

My prediction:

1. Hamilton
2. Rosberg
3. Vettel
4. Raikkonen
5. Bottas
6. Massa
7. Hulkenberg
8. Ricciardo
9. Ericsson
10. Nasr

If Mercedes has the same problems Vettel could win....
Why don't you think Perez will finish in the top 10? I think Canada is a good track for him.
2012 - 3rd
2013 - 11th (uncompetitve car, teammate Button - 12th)
2014 - running in 4th until the last lap when he crashed with Massa
Maybe another crash? :D

Now seriously I hope he can have a good race but I am waiting to see Hulkenberg doing his best in this race.

Difficult place to predict the weather, it's almost easier to predict the weather in Spa. Montreal has many bodies of water including large fresh water bodies, and the different evaporation rates really mess with the models. I'll have something concrete by the end of this week.

Interesting to see how much closer the grid are to the Mercs here....

Just like when the FIA closely looked into fuel flow rates and the gap got bigger :)

I did notice the Merc wings flexing a lot in the last few grand prix. There are probably gifs of it already out there but I'm at work so don't have the time to find them.

Everything stays the same or changes for other reasons. It's fascinating that in 2010 FW deflection tests were considered adequate and more evidence that they didn't touch the subject then because other were trying to copy it.

I don't expect either McLaren to finish the race due to the nature of the circuit. Heavy PU loading on acceleration and braking.

I hope it rains, 2011 was an awesome race even with the "I fear the rain" attitude of Charlie.

Hands down the best F1 race I have watched; 2011 Canadian GP.

The Williams were competitive here last year but they don't seem to have the long straight advantage they had last year. I think they'll be back up in Q3 but still a ways off of Ferrari. Lotus and Sauber should be a bit more competitive again too.

Two or three races back I noticed that with the onboard nose camera, it was very easy to see because the wing and the osd display with the name of the driver onboard were togheter, but with speed the wing moved down and a gap was seen

I was curious about that, and waited for onboard cameras on different cars, and then watched same effect with Ferrari and Williams, so nothing to see here, they all do the same

As posted elsewhere, James Allen says both Ferrari and Mercedes are:

Not really, Ferrari had clearly made the biggest jump in PU performance, Merc are clearly making the biggest push on the aero side.

Exactly. It's definitely not just a Mercedes thing.
