Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel has won the European Grand Prix at the street circuit of Valencia. The German was able to hold off home driver Fernando Alonso in his Ferrari and his team mate Mark Webber.
Good thing for RedBull is that their performance is a lot better than Horner's sense of humor...“I think he just wanted to show the world what advertising space was still available on his overalls,” joked Horner with Sky TV, referring to Vettel’s rear-end that was bent over the Ferrari cockpit for some time.
Webber isn't being given equal car with Vettel since the final 2-3 races of last season. Webber has mentioned on Aussie TV that his performance has been down to him having issues understanding the Pirelli's and from his comments and pace in Valencia I would suggest he is now much closer to Vettel in his understanding of them.Shrieker wrote: Webber isn't being given equal car with Vettel since the final 2-3 races of last season. The RB7 is too good and there isn't anything the other teams can do. Give Webber equal car with Vettel and he can do it. So can Massa, Button, Rosberg and heck, even Schumacher. Not to even mention Alonso and Hamilton... After Silverstone nothing will change. The championship is %99 Vettel's and the remaining %1 represents unusual circumstances. The rest will be gunning for the odd race win rather than title glory.
About McLaren being the fastest on race pace. Well Lewis, if you drive the wheels off an avarege car, that's what happens.
