From 1st to 24th for something that wasn't even your own fault?
He was way faster than anyone else and now he has sto start from the back because he didn't make it back into the pits, although there was enough fuel for the sample.
you win and lose as a team in F1. you can not separate the driver and the team.

The rules state the car must get back to the pits under its own power after qualifying. This rule was broken. Very silly from Mclaren, especially since this rule was brought in after a similar mistake to this in Canada 2010.

Thank you, sir. Autosport extented his article here:

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/99564

"The Stewards heard from the team representative Mr Sam Michael who stated that the car stopped on the circuit for reasons of force majeure. A team member had put an insufficient quantity of fuel into the car thereby resulting in the car having to be stopped on the circuit in order to be able to provide the required amount for sampling purposes.

just remove the last timed lap. he was able to return to the pits. during his first run. that was a valid quali lap.

some of the mistakes from mclaren are crazy, doesn't anyone check what they are doing? Why did know one pick this up earlier, would he not have been 6th if they aborted the run and kept his previous time?

I just realised that Malder will be on pole. May god, jesus christ and all the saints have mercy, it's going to be an interesting start.
"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe." Murray Walker, San Marino 1985

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Mclaren should be embarrassed, there clearly doing a great job at the factory only for the race team to consistently mess up at every opportunity, whether it be pit stops, lewis's useless engineer or that moron of a team principle. lol at winning any championships.

as for the penalty, even as a Hamilton fan it deserved a penalty, that said to be excluded from qually is just ridiculous, juast erase the q3 times.

f1 doing a great job as always, now we can watch the race tomorrow on the worst tyres iv ever seen

Alonso, Raikkonen, Rosberg and Schumacher are going to get the surprise of starting from the dirty side of the track.
Someone probably should ask them if they are happy for gaining a position.
