Vettel tops final practice in Spain
Sebastian Vettel topped the timesheet at the end of the final free practice session ahead of qualifying for the Spanish GP. Pastor Maldonado for Williams and Kamui Kobayashi for Sauber completed the top three.
Lewis Hamilton came close to setting the fastest time but in the final chicane got hindered by Karthikeyan and Räikkönen. The Finn excused himself, but of course the lap for the McLaren driver was gone.
Vettel, who already topped the timesheets, was a little more fortunate and could set another flying lap on the pirelli softs, further reaffirming his pace around the Spanish track.
The technical issues today were for Romain Grosjean around halfway. The Frenchman came to a halt in the uphill turn 10 after losing fuel pressure in his Lotus E20.
Close to the end of the session, Timo Glock also parked his car along the track with an apparent suspension problem or rear puncture. Coming out of turn 15 he suddenly lost car balance and eventually stopped on the main straight.
