In your dreams. Believe me, if those cars were for real, they'd been displayed long time ago to promote a sale.

So, you think potential billionaire buyer is surfing same sites as we do? Or there's a chance that interested party (if there's one) haven't heard of Honda situation?

Now THAT is an excellent point. Sure, private viewings and very limited distribution of sensitive tech material is understandable. But why not distribute photos of the cars (even with a mockup engine) all to create buzz and gravitas?

..Maybe it's the other way around: if someone was indeed seriously interested in buying THEN they would show him exactly what he would be paying for before signing anything :D

ps. this is just how i see it, it is not neccessarily true.
I understand this is just your opinion, but just out of curiosity I would like you to help us understand what made you formulate this opinion.. The Toyota experiment? The Honda experiment? I think it would be more reasonable to say success in F1 is like happiness in life: money and "size" certainly help, but not always!
Yeah sorry that is what im trying to say. Money may not neccessarily means success, but without money you won't be going anywhere. And i truely trust that with talent like Ross, the more money and staff they got, the better results the team will enjoy.

maybe they did show pictures to the interested investors, in private. I mean why would they publish the photos in public (and other teams) if they can just do it behind closed doors.

I suspect that Honda were ready to do the full treatment in private to potiential buyers. But, everytime they had a scheduled showing, or open house, only Ross Brawn and Nikky Fry showed.

They got so tired of Nikky, that they said they would give it to Ross for nothing if he would boot Mr. Fry to the back gardens.

The idea that they would post pics for the world to see is absurd. Fans vastly overate their own importance. The serious buyers have seen, touched, and tasted the cars.

Thanks donskar.
Not absurd at all, if Honda were still picking up all the bills, it would have been tested with last years engine well, when those are so regulated in size and shape that such an interim solution would not have been a problem.

Interesting, not the "brackley F1" part, but the fact that Rubens will be teaming up with Button next year. Honestly i would be quite surprised if this turns out to be true. Looks like the team isn't lacking in money after all?

You never know, maybe Rubens has come to the table with a lot of cash and sponsors.

Senna to DTM...that will be in a Merc then ;) Odd choice of series for a single seater racer. (Not that it hasn't been done before).

Brackley F1 is a bit limp. But I'm struggling to think of decent alternatives...

If it's all true, excellent - glad they are going to be racing.

With the lack of sponsors, I'd paint the cars Silver and whack on a massive Mercedes badge...that might put the wind up McLaren ;) :P
