Just because a team chooses to run a 20 lap stint doesn't mean their tank was not full, remember although the cars have tanks large enough to go a whole race distance without refueling, it does not guarantee that the tires will last that long. Doing long stints just means they go until the tires are worn, not that they're fueled exactly for the laps covered by the stint. My point is that for most teams (Virgin are just ashamed they've produced a dog) testing times don't mean much. I can almost guarantee that times will vary for each car by as much as 3-5 seconds a lap depending on the level of fuel. In fact I predict qualifying times to be at least 4 seconds faster than the fastest race lap unless there is a tire change near the last 10-7 laps of the race (which I think is very unlikely).

Love it or hate it, you gotta feel for Buemi everytime this happens to him, and its starting to become a occurance in Practice before a race and now in testing. He is fastest till the last 5 mins of a session.

Why?
It's only testing, and practice!
He'd take a podium in Detroit  over a lap record at Spa in practice!

No, Button caused the third red flag. MSC collided with Kobayashi earlier.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

Some Vids from todays testing:

In the 3. Part is the frontwing problem of the Virgin and at about 3 mins is Alonso sliding through the corners, looks like oversteer... Here it doesnt seem to me that the Ferrari is better than every other car, Mclaren had the same problems during testing last year, as far as i remember (no grip at the rear tires)

that's the first thing I noticed when I watched the video. the wing is not strong enough to support the aerodynamic loads.
