Strategic retirement. No points means no need to finish the race.

Alonso has been told to light the tyres up (run an advantage).

Which means Hirohide Hamashima is doing his job (investigating tyre profile depth etc).

Oil pressure slightly low in the gearbox...

BUTTON TOLD TO CONSERVE FUEL!
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Yes Mercedes is the 6th fastest car in the grid after McLaren, RBR, Ferrari, Lotus and Sauber :)

Just a tad better than FI.

He could but the amount of fuel left in his tank is letting him down...

Alonso has been told to run to the death...so its risky...

McLaren told Button the win was possible. Alonso then took the f___ off and Vettel began to salivate.

This is ridiculous...this is why these tracks suck with all this tarmac...shouldn't be able to have no penalty for going off the track to pass.

Anyone want to tell Vettel that he actually needs to be driving on the track?

Vettel may be under investigation for over-taking off the circuit and the revised rule states any over-take completed off the track will incur a penalty...uh oh...
