some guys are doing lots of laps on those mediums now. Will likely pay for that in the sprint.

It looks like there is a lot of track evolution.

Albon takes a 2-0 qualifying lead versus his much lauded teammate. I kept hearing about how Sainz was going to destroy Albon this year.

And Hamilton putting the moves on Leclerc so far today.

Very interesting.

it just means that Colapinto is far better than both, and therefor also better than Leclerc, of course ;)

no idea why McLaren (and Mercedes) went out this early on a massively improving track, but makes the sprint much more interesting. Good to see.

Ham pole lol. Great to see tbh.
Classic norris choke, makes a mistake in second to last corner.

Yeah, very strange decision, especially for Mercedes who did one lap only. McLaren I can slightly understand, they probably think their tires are good for two push laps.

Great to se McLaren is not so dominant, not so great to see Hamilton on pole.

Mclaren is dominant. It was just a bottle job. Their individual sector times are disgusting. Norris did a 24.0 sector 1 on used softs. 2 tenths clear of anyone on new softs. They have the edge in S2 as well in like for like runs.

Nice, bit of action tomorrow to be sure. It's nice of Norris to make a show of it.

Yeah, norris will be mad fast in sprint.
