@Bgroovers
I hated Jonathan Ross but he did have some fabulous guests, Scarbs etc are guests on Peter Windsor's show. Im not an expert all things Peter Windsor, but he does make some quite unusual predictions and comments.
In fairness I like his enthusiasm, and he always wants to know more. A good thing.
Kevin Eason however, likes to brag about whom he is having tea with in the midst of a busy Testing session. Here's a guy paid to write about F1, tweeting "anything happen while I was away?"
If like me, you like to get cutting stories there are genuinely very few good outlets.
You quickly begin to see whom copies who when you read twitter(cough*Eason*cough).
During testing I like to get it first hand, not regurgitated by some nit wit who likes to add some spin to it.

With testing upon us, getting the informed opinion is what matters. I guess it boils down to personal preference. But when Ferrari are allegedly not happy with their car, Mercedes conducting F-duct front wing tests, Mclaren burning its floor through exhaust gas exposure(naughty naughty
), Red Bull with a host of interesting features and Lotus Renault seemingly bang on the pace....I really dont want to hear some bloated journo crap off for england about his amazing social network and provide me with the square root of bugger all.
I follow Peter windsor for what is worth, but I still dont think hes more than a popcorn commentator
Go on Twitter, give those names I mentioned a go, you will see how "alive" testing sessions become.
