Only Hamilton can stop you.

I am on Vettel's side with the pass, he had nowhere else to go.
This. What else was he meant to do? He had the quicker car, no way should he have slowed down. Button left him with no room.
The revised rules state since Bahrain that overtakes committed/completed off the track will be given a drive thru penalty or post race be given a timed penalty (equivelant to a drive thru penalty or 25 second penalty).

Also the argument is in Mclarens favor, He took the inside line...committed to that race line the entire time.

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

It's not the leading car's duty to leave any room for the attacker. It is however the duty of the attacker to overtake according to the rules. No matter how much faster you are. I sometimes wonder where people get these strange ideas.

Too bad that Hamilton got a poor get away and a puncture. Could have been fun with him involved as well.

Vettel will get either a reprimand or a 5 place grid penalty for next race. In another words, a light penalty. They a Red Bull..

I'd just like to see some consistency in what the FIA says and what they actually do.

I mean I suppose hell will freeze over before that happens, but it's when something blatant happens, yet they do very little.

Watching the replay again, he would have had to go behind Button, and then try to pass again. There was still time to go for another overtake.

Grande Alonso! Another great drive from him and I think that, at the moment, Alonso is the most complete driver on the grid - smart, skilfull and hard working. To lead the WDC despite the doggy of a car Ferrari had at the start of the season is something very hard to achieve. He dragged the whole team with him.
Good drive from Kimi. Very good and fair fight between him and di Resta at the beginning of the race. Some drivers should watch that as a lesson of driving.

Vettel - overtaking fail
Grosjean - I don't know what happened

p.s.: I don't know how some people can be focused on the race to judge some situations while writing here, on the forum.

Multiple screens allows you to write and watch.

I don't need to look at the screen to type. :)

I'm just glad Vettel passed Button off track rather than Hamilton. I don't know that the forum could deal with that shitstorm.

The rules changed since that incident/race to avoid future off-track overtaking.
