I assume you mean in Q3?Joie de vivre wrote:Then tell me why did Schumi run some extra laps before driving on his position at start of the race? He could just make one lap and park the car on his position.
yup, lewis and seb pushed a bit hard at the beggining i think.myurr wrote:Vettel in. Hamilton's tyres are going off.
Typical in the sense that they rarely try a different strategy. Starting on primes MAY have cost them one or two positions at the start but they could have gained those places by stopping late. If you are slow, why not try something different?FoxHound wrote:Is it? There is a Lotus behind them with SSofts, who would have jumped them had the started on the harder tyre.spadeflush wrote:Typical
At the very least they gave themselves the option to run whichever tyre they wanted to.
No, before he wen't to his position he drove through pit lane and made extra lap or two ... well it doesn't really matter nowFoxHound wrote:I assume you mean in Q3?
regardless of the strategy, they would need to run the SS tyres at some stage. The length of this GP (near 2 hours) means getting it out the way as soon as possible maybe the best way for their particular car.spadeflush wrote:Typical in the sense that they rarely try a different strategy. Err why? Was a good overtake. He made it stick and there was no contact or real danger of contact.astracrazy wrote:Igor driving like a nutcase again
