Has anyone else noticed how biased Jolyon Palmer is? It's almost unwatchable.

The british driver ball gargler makes all kind of excuses for how Russell was "surprised" by Max in qualy (when Russell's engineer clearly told him 2 cars ahead, and the replay shows how much time Russell had to evaluate the situations) and excuses for how Lando "couldn't be expected" to see flags on the straight:

During the race, Palmer remarked that he doesn't like to see drivers whinging about one another when Verstappen reported that Norris didn't slow for the double yellow.... but had no comment about Russell's acting during qualifying, and literally defended Russell for playing up the qualy incident in the stewards room in the video above. :? Right, so it's fine when the British drivers do it, but not anyone else...

It's embarrassing, it really is. All season long this guy has been insufferable, making excuses for all of the british drivers and criticizing everyone else. This season must have really broke him when all his compatriots failed to make a dent in the championship. His takes just became more and more biased. He seemed almost in pain when Norris wasn't able to pass Verstappen in Qatar.

I may have to start watching the Spanish language streams with captions to escape this nonsense.
I think Palmer just tends to root for the encumbant champion/serial winner. He was not pro-british in 2021 between Hamilton and Verstappen, so much so that he was accused of being a max fanboy at times iirc. From what I can tell he just cheers for underdogs?
