Oh my... Can someone find the full quote?
That reminds me of 2018 with Ferrari. They went off with the upgrades, and then went back to the original configuration, and then Kimi won a race in Austin. Red Bull should've done the same long time ago. Even if they lose some downforce who cares, race pace matters which is about how long you can keep the tyres working, which is about the stability of the car.
Didn't they do this in Zandvoort?pantherxxx wrote: ↑01 Sep 2024, 17:54That reminds me of 2018 with Ferrari. It honestly seems like Red Bull Racing are lost. Honda ran with no wings at all in 2023 MotoGP pre-season testing for a baseline, similarly suggesting a team that was a bit lost with their understanding of motorcycle downforce development.
If the car is 4th fastest every weekend - certainly not. And there could be weekends where it is even worse like SingaporeLuscion wrote: ↑01 Sep 2024, 18:26Max doesnt think winning the WDC or WCC is possible at the moment

Are people forgetting how much the car changed after Bahrain?
At this point, the only solution is to try the base car that won in Bahrain to understand if it feels different.
Unless the "base car" can no longer run because it's no longer legal Max used the Bahrain spec floor at Netherlands and he had similar balance issuesXyz22 wrote: ↑01 Sep 2024, 18:41At this point, the only solution is to try the base car that won in Bahrain to understand if it feels different.
Yeah but as said earlier in this thread RB changed other parts so it's worth a shot to try the base car. Even though the balance was still good in Suzuka and especially in China (in the dry). So, yeah i have absolutely no idea what is going on here.organic wrote: ↑01 Sep 2024, 18:43Unless the "base car" can no longer run because it's no longer legal Max used the Bahrain spec floor at Netherlands and he had similar balance issues
