i know Nicolas Todt is Massa's agent.
How Massa got the drive in the first place is beyond me however i understand politics.
Felipe Massa is no quicker than Pedro De La Rosa, he has lucked into good cars and won races, given bad cars and done nothing.
my point is this fraud should be nowhere near a Ferrari F1 seat. To push this team forward they need to bin the second most overrated brazilian (Rubens being number 1) and get a competent, reliable and fast driver in to push Alonso, otherwise Ferrari are going to end up like the early 90's shower of piss they were
joke of a driver
Are you serious? Do you even have knowledge of f1 at all?
First off; with Schumacher;
Schumacher signed to Ferrari for 1996 with a huge paycheck and being the first driver. This pretty much included driver choise. Schumacher never wanted a team mate that could push him. He wanted a second driver.
Now for Alonso;
PRetty much the same, clearly the first driver and doesnt want a challenging team mate, te guy cant even handle challenging competitors let alone a challenging team mate. Therefore Massa stays.
As for Massa himself;
I'm not so sure, but I think you're confusing him with someone else, Massa debuted in the Sauber in 2002 and had a pretty decent debut year, after that had a test year with ferrari and came back in '04, he clearly had matured and showed pretty good results in the sauber, much better than his team mate for example.
But lets compare him to De LA Rosa, which you state is on the same level. As to say that, De LA Rosa, in a similar positioned car compared to The Sauber Massa had showed barely anything and was quick on a few occasions, being defeated by his team mate. In 2005 he drove a few races for McLaren, he was clearly the lesser man compared to Montoya and Raikkonen, the drivers who could win with the car, which was one of the best in 2005. In 2006 with a lesser car nothing was changed, he replaced Montoya but was only quick on a few rare occasions, but was beaten by Raikkonen on a daily basis.
You are also forgetting anything moral going on with Massa, he had this huge accident and soon after that had a son. I am sure anyone here can understand that that would bring huge fear, getting another accident like that and unable to watch his son grow up. Then, we also had this great thing of him being a second driver, which isnt helping either. Take that away and I am sure he would be much closer to Alonso.
And Ferrari end op like in the 90s? You know that Schumacher dragged the team out of that with a second man being in the same position as Massa is now? You know that that team had the most succesfull years in formula 1 history? You know that Alonso has the same position in the team as Schumacher had? I hope you see where we are going, where as Schumacher made Ferrari a winning team again, with Alonso, who didnt need to work the team from the midfield back to top but rather had to keep top position, they can barely keep in touch with the top teams for the third year in a row, and even are falling further down every year.
Point of this all is; You can in no way blame Massa for this, instead you have to blame Alonso, who just seems to be unable to carry the team.
