The question was related to a livery that I wasn't even discussing to begin with. Me answering that question would add nothing to the discussion.Manoah2u wrote:you are really full of it. still haven't answered the question above.wesley123 wrote:Except for the fact that's color palette is completely different

no, you are trying to prove a point which is no point.
I'm sorry, but it is clear that you do not comprehend me. You are the one that is full of it, you are still assuming things about my standpoint even though I have already explained them clearly.
the language barrier is no excuse we're talking colours.I understand that my language barrier can make it difficult to explain things, but I think I have done it well enough to explain the confusion, yet, still here we are. Sorry, but you are the one that is "full of it", you are still sticking to the same assumption that i have already explained long ago.
[/quote]Please, re-read my posts, my argument and explanation is very, very clear.
Explain. Instead of these insults you might want to explain why that is the case.djos wrote:Sorry, still totally failing ....wesley123 wrote:No, not really.
I'll help a little:
Both liveries use Red, black and white
Both liveries follow a stripe on the engine cover, this stripe splits the two main colors.
Both liveries have a thick black stripe on the lower part of the tub
Both liveries have red end plates
Both liveries split their two primary colors on a similar point, in a similar shape.
I don't think i can make it more clear than this.
Which is 99% of this topic, not really a valid argument.besides it's a damn fan livery, you know a suggestion of direction to be taken, not the real thing.
yeah, tomorrow Mclaren will show their new Ferrari livery.KingHamilton01 wrote:is 2morrow's press conference going to be for a new livery?
Yes, i too find it funny that after these endless explanations you still don't get my argument.Manoah2u wrote:wesley123 wrote:The question was related to a livery that I wasn't even discussing to begin with. Me answering that question would add nothing to the discussion.Manoah2u wrote:

I made it pretty damn clear already that it is the artstyle as a whole, not the use of red/black/white alone.no, you are trying to prove a point which is no point.

you say the colours make it look like a ferrari, to your flawed logic this:
http://bandverde.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/mf1.jpg
gets confused with a ferrari.
Again; artstyle.you keep hammering about a photoshop, then you are presented with another image of the same colours and characteristics and you remain silent and divert the discussion. because you know you're cornered and keep on debating on something undebatable.
A livery is more than colors, it also is shapes and placement of these colors. Said that multiple times alreadythe language barrier is no excuse we're talking colours.I understand that my language barrier can make it difficult to explain things, but I think I have done it well enough to explain the confusion, yet, still here we are. Sorry, but you are the one that is "full of it", you are still sticking to the same assumption that i have already explained long ago.
please look at your own posts again to see just how rediculous you make it go. there is no harm in admitting you are wrong and that in the end ferrari and mclaren do not look anything alikePlease, re-read my posts, my argument and explanation is very, very clear.
I suggest you re-read my posts and reflect those accusations upon yourself as well. It may surprise you.Manoah2u wrote:you know what, have fun staying in your bubble.
That's easy, a heritage livery is an homage to a classic livery, it doesn't have to be a clone. E.g. This dick Johnson 20th anniversary livery:bdr529 wrote:
And how about answering the question I posed to you
What is a " Heritage livery " ?
is it old race cars painted in period correct livery that ran in the day ?
or is it when you use that old livery on a new car or maybe on a car that never was painted in that livery ?
I've already used car that quite a few pages back.bdr529 wrote:That is also my view, Old style livery on a new car
I must say as an Austrialian I would have guessed you would show this car
I was disapointed that they ran the V8 supercars at COTA in Texas rather then at tracks like Mid-Ohio, Road America, Mosport.
It would have been an instant hit if they had, those cars are made for tracks like that
