Hamilton is claiming the light wasn't on at the pit Lane entrance.

What a bunch of idiots those stewards are, instead of pushing the car back 5 yards let's push it half it half a mile down to the pits.

Why the eye roll, absolutely stupid and a farce.
Yeah they could have easily pushed it back

So this race went from being a bit of a predictable... to a complete lottery. We might very well get a race where a Mercedes doesn't end up winning.

Hamilton said there's no actual light at the pit lane entry... IF he gets a penalty for this it's a fvcking joke...

EVERYONE ELSE followed the rule.
Maybe the light went red AFTER Hamilton? He was at the front after all.

What everyone else did has nothing to do with whether there was a light on at the pit entry or not. If there wasn't, a penalty isn't justified, end of story.

You have a V8 Supercar race director in charge now, so things operate more like V8 Supercars. That means Safety Car everytime marshalls need to go on track. :)

Old F1 race direction was far too risk-taking at the expense of volunteer marshalls.

So McLaren should be unfairly disadvantaged?

Lewis Hamilton has no excuse. There were TWO red X lights on the track at the Parabolica. Both were illuminated. They are clearly visible on the replay as he heads towards the pit entrance.

I believe you can change tyres in a Red Flag situation. STR in the pound seat?
