Has anyone seen or heard any info on the skirting used to seal the vacuum area? That’s the magic sauce to this imo. The better the seal, obviously the more suction created and less power required from the fans. Would love to find some info on seal design and materials used that allows it to seal well, and not wear out so fast that you have to replace them every 25 miles

A blanket of nitrogen a few miles thick accelerating at 9 m/s tends to have that effect. It's all about skirt efficacy. Just don't ride a curb mid-corner...

How many cars do you know wich are faster than F1 cars for any ammount of laps? For half a lap maybe? None?

So for first car ever to be faster than F1 cars, and best use you can think about is street sweeping?

It is a novel craft with amazing stats but in seriousness it cannot hang with an F1 car or really most motorsports cars on a level playing field, as you know.

Obviously. Do you know any other car wich can beat a F1 on any parameter, even for 1 single lap? No, so this is one of its own, but your posts in this thread are all a mockery of the car, or EVs in general

SiLo's street sweeper comment has spun out of control. Was just riffing off the humorous reaction to it by Andres125. It is a novel craft with amazing stats but in seriousness it cannot hang with an F1 car or really most motorsports cars on a level playing field, as you know. The skirt tech could be transferred, and this would be interesting (it would certainly alter driving styles).

I'd love to see a spec series with these cars, but I'm not sure how the drivers would deal with the dust lifted from the floor. Maybe if they directed it elsewhere?

It has similar proportions to another compact EV time trial special, the Tajima E-Runner, which ran Pikes Peak. The Spierling seems ideal for either a Nordscheife or Pikes Peak run.

If it can do 10 laps of Silverstone as claimed in that video (~33 miles) then Pikes Peak should be within reach at ~12 miles. Since it's all paved now with no curbs I'd think this would be an ideal location. Since it's a customer track car I predict someone will be sending it up within a year or so after deliveries.

Pikes Peak looked smooth when it was paved although this was several years ago by now. They could keep track of smooth and rough sections and alter fan use based on that.
