Just send people who crash to the back of the grid then.
Im surprised this rule hasnt been implemented yet. Bring out a flag you are at the back of the grid, or at least the back of the respective Q session you entered last.
Indeed ... invalidate all times of that Q session, pretty easy.
honestly why are people all of a sudden so triggered by a red flag incident. its their loss if they didnt set a good banker lap and its all part of the game. i can understand if it was proven to be intentional a la michael 2006 but these things happen. lets stop being so pansy all of a sudden.

There is no sudden trigger. The last couple of years have had many incidents that show the qualy rule set is broken as it stands. Securing poles/high starting positions by binning your car has nothing to do with racing. Whether its intentional or not.

Other classes have figured this out a long time ago btw.

I have read somewhere that this year the tv broadcast will be done by the usual F1 team which is a welcome change I guess

New yellow flag speed limits in force from this weekend.

Why dont they just give cars a pit limiter when the yellow flags are out

So, that says cars entering the 'zone', but what about cars already in that zone? This could create a difference of several seconds ?

That's a good comparison of front suspension geometry there. Looks like a "cross-beam" type top link fitted to the Monaco spec chassis.

Could do with being repeated in W14 thread as fundamental detail.

All the pitlane pics of the cars confused me and made me think it was Thursday. Is there a reason they're setting up a day early, even with practice now starting on Fridays in Monaco?

Yep, should be an improvement. Bit more detail here: https://www.racefans.net/2023/05/22/f1- ... -it-needs/

Also, no more "special Monaco split days". I sort of miss that, though no doubt the regular schedule is more practical. I think I just enjoy the anachronistic nature of this GP.
