Anticlimactic in a way, the only advantage of this design RB used was exceptional Q pace (compared to R pace) and only if overall track layout allowed for it.
I still don't think this design had much to do with bringing front of the bib down in the race, but rather getting it up in Q and plank out of harms way when the car is trully at its absolute lowest during the weekend. This way, you put it back into place during a time when the car is expected to go through checkups and basic maintenance and by the time it drives to the grid (when everyone can have a clear and unobstructed look into every detail) no one can see anything suspicious on the outside
