I didn't think that the strategy was a good one for Alonso, so it was impressive to come back to 11th. No comment on the other driver.

The soft tire start seemed to be a gamble on an early red flag which didn't pay off, but strategy wasn't terrible, he got out in free air early at least. Shame it wasnt enough for a point or two, but 11th after that qualy was acceptable.

Alo was moderately happy after the race. Stated that the car worked much better and that one point was legit.

He also said that VER was the best, and that he wish he could beat him in 2026... Not that possible in 2025. His words. It's quite clear that next season will be hard too.

He was smiling after the race. And not the kind of tired smile he's had this year. Weird...

Finishing 11th with the worst car according to the simulator must be intrinsically motivating. Alonso knows if he has a car remotely close he'll be able to make some noise.
