Hard to say. Didn't see any actual construction activity today, but they have been hauling in filler materials for months at a high rate of 20, 30, even 40 trucks per hour for weeks on end. That all stopped when everything shut down, then resumed today.Scorpaguy wrote:So Hairy Scott....is this construction in earnest or just "fiddle-farting" around. Any chance a 2012 date could happen if hell freezes over?
I think they were meeting with Bernie, so let's hope that this isn't more public posturing, and the negotiations are over and done with.hairy_scotsman wrote:Just heard a COTA announcement is coming this afternoon.

By trying to boot out Hellmund and playing hardball with Bernie he only managed to loose the guaranteed METF money and pushed the price up. How dumb is that?
Not to me I'm afraid, I can only see Helmund as MrE's "mini-me", a profiteer who was trying to make out like a bandit without risking any of his own money. When Epstein, and later Combs, figured that out, they saw no reason to work with him.WhiteBlue wrote:Makes no sense to blame Hellmund. Epstein is the guy who failed.
