Yeah, maybe that was damaged by the kerbs though, they are about the most brutal kerbs in F1 at that chicane

Vergne was lucky, his crash reminds me Ortelli crash in 2008. The behaviour of the car was the same :

Yeah, Le Mans style cars always seem to forget they are cars and try to be airplanes!

I love the people here taking the moral "high ground" about bias, while at the same time lumping the Tifosi all into one "racist" group. While the irony is actually quite funny, the hypocrisy, isn't quite as funny.

Bruce McLaren on building his first McLaren racecars, 1970

“I've got to be careful what I say, but possibly to probably Juan would have had a bigger go”
Sir Frank Williams after the 2003 Canadian GP, where Ralf hesitated to pass brother M. Schumacher

The spin killed much of the speed of Vegne's car and luckily it didn't make a loop.

Yeah i guess so, He still had a good go at getting airborne. I would go as far as saying, If it was a Marussia or HRT, it would have flown! These cars just dont have the downforce

Its unfortunate that non Italians have no idea what those flags stand for. Those chumps have been around for a while with nothing to show but an old decrepit man at the helm (Bossi).

How are they being lumped into one group? There are certain partisan fans, wherever you go.

With Webber retiring the car because of flat spotted tires, that means he can't get a fresh gearbox or engine right? I'm pretty sure you have to have a legit failure to write either of those off and get new ones, or am I mistaken?

The failure has to be 'beyond driver control' according to the sporting regs.

I know this reply is late, but that line was really funny. Thank you for that! Lol!

He was stuck in one gear IIRC.

Whilst Perez drove very well, I'm still not sold. He usually drives very well for one race, then completely disappears off the radar in the next/outshone by his team-mate.

No he wasn't. He was just keeping the speed low, presumably to keep the vibrations down as much as possible.
