But, you have to base on the race, and overall Max amd RB have been fastest. It's close though both are pretty much level.Emag wrote: ↑23 Jun 2024, 16:24This last stint Max had the advantage in terms of tire age, but Lando, so far, has taken 4 seconds out of him.Ben1980 wrote: ↑23 Jun 2024, 16:23Not sure they are the fastest, well if so, joint fastest. There is nothing between Lando and Max at present.Emag wrote: ↑23 Jun 2024, 16:19Well I concede, McLaren probably was the fastest car here. So unfortunate for that start. Track position and George Russell gave RedBull the win today.
EDIT: This bodes well for upcoming races and at least there's a comfortable cushion to Mercedes and Ferrari. Throwaway weekend for Oscar.
That's not joint fastest, Lando is clearly faster. Not by a huge margin, but he is the fastest.
First stint, Lando was stuck behind George.Ben1980 wrote: ↑23 Jun 2024, 16:28But, you have to base on the race, and overall Max amd RB have been fastest. It's close though both are pretty much level.
Because they are winning? And while Lando was stuck behind George, Max breezed past him.Emag wrote: ↑23 Jun 2024, 16:29First stint, Lando was stuck behind George.
Second stint -> Lando faster by a significant margin
Third stint -> Better tires for Max, Lando still faster by a decent chunk.
How are you putting RB as the faster car?
It was a gamble. Either try something different to go for the win, or just concede that 2nd is the best you're gonna get this race.
No, Max is losing big time, he'd not give up nearly .7s a lap to toy with anyone.
