0.7 sec don't matter if the laps are running out. It's the same scenario every race.
The point is the Max was not risking it by choosing to lose that time, because one small off would lose the race. He was genuinely pushing and he was slower.
Looking at this, I surmise that the Mclaren struggles more than we'd like in dirty air.
Tyre delta was an ugly way of passing, but we needed it to get by.
