Source. Plus they don't have to expend a ton of money with global travel, as is the case in F1. So let's dispense with the BS that there's no money or that it's inconceivable that a 100% facility in the US could meet the needs of professional race teams.
Back to the topic at hand. You will not see a push-rod arrangement on the front of the Ferrari any time soon. For one, I just don't see it as an issue. Two - even if they wanted to, as Lycoming says... the hardpoints and component layouts are totally different. You'd need a new tub.
