Cheeky Ferrari, they've cut the floor cable stays, allowing floor flex which seals the floor and yields more downforce. In dry it causes bouncing problems, but now in wet it's a good thing. Not sure if it's a good idea if either race is dry...

Can’t they change it again from wet to dry?

As far as I know, under Parc Ferme rules, this shouldn't be allowed.

Tricky conditions, many off's. Nice to see the cars running in the wet. It seems that the new aero regs did'nt clear up visibility in the wet...

Ferrari on another level. If conditions stay like that, I don’t see another team coming even close.
Also Hass really strong.

Pretty interesting then that they’ve chosen to do it. Maybe they don’t care about probably more porpoising on this track.

Reddit level analysis right here. It's been like 30 minutes and a handful of laps
I’m just looking at the screen and commenting on what I see. I’m not vying for the prize of most interesting analysis, I’m just sharing thoughts to spawn a discussion.

Instead of criticising me, what do you see in the session? That’s more interesting isn’t it? Agree or disagree…
I think at that point it looked like everyone was just getting up to speed and it's pointless to comment on it just yet. FP1, in the wet and some cars with new updates. Even now later in the session things are changing quickly.
I think my observation remains true. Ferrari is certainly quick, but it looks twitchy… or at least, Charles is making a lot of errors. Seemingly the most of anyone so far this session.

The redbull looks more at ease, but granted it’s currently 1.4s off.

Mercedes still nowhere, with like the most severe bouncing I’ve seen so far this season…

Given the Ferrari and haas are looking so strong in these conditions, and they share suspension setups, I think that could be where Ferraris strength lies, also suggested by Ferrari’s strong traction.

Keen to see how it unfolds across the rest of the weekend, particularly in the crossover from wet to dry (if it happens) to see if there are setup implications across teams

Charles certainly looked to be trying to find the limit harder than anyone else.
Russell on inters was the only car i saw porpoise, worrying given that wet tires are usually slightly taller than slicks.

I think Merc were testing ride heights with RUS; HAM didn’t appear too suffer as bad.
Team ANTI-HYPE. Prove it, then I’ll anoint you.

Certainly possible.
