Actually Lando was on the clean side. He just had a very bad start. He has to work on those starts if he wants to be championship material. It's also a pity that Oscar made a racing mistake but it can happen to a rookie in his first year. The race is still long and the softs are gonna drop quickly (I'm hoping at least).

I think Norris left too much space to Verstappen in the second turn. He went wide. Anyway. The safety cars work in favour of soft tyres in two ways. They will probably last till the end and also those with mediums are easier targets at each restart.
He did, but he didn't have control of his rear either.

The softs should be dropping soon. Piastri is now gaining bit by bit and Norris should be doing the same.

This should bring Lando in contention for a good getaway, those softs are going to cool and risk not coming back.

They said, the side Lando was on had no grip, especially when on the mediums, even Max struggled at the start.
People starting on his side overtook him (Russell and Leclerc), he just had a bad start on what was already a tricky situation.
Both on softs though, weren't they.

Will Lando have enough laps to at least pass the last Ferrari and that Mercedes? He has the tyres and the car is almost as fast as Verstappen's Red Bull but does he have enough laps to get both that Ferrari and that Mercedes?

Karun said those on even numbers, were on the side with no grip, which was exacerbated by Lando being on mediums compared to those behind on Softs.

Hopefully, could take a few laps to clear up the track here.

Only 6 laps left but I am afraid there will only be less than 2 laps when they clear those cars. On one hand that is good for Piastri as he might manage to go first but Lando might be screwed if he doesn't have enough laps to pass both Ferrari and Mercedes. Also interesting voice chat. Verstappen thinks that Piastri is too fast to catch.

They will have a good 4 laps of racing, I expect Lando to get some places.
