If Ham is the man then rules are not working, this is what we are saying as you said with a different intention.Shrieker wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 15:58langedweil wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 15:56Hmm, wasn't Ham even more over the track limit than Alb ?
Or did I watch a different corner ?If those corners are being policed, his time would've been long deleted by now. Which tells me, they aren't. I'm not talking piratella btw. Didn't see a replay of Ham exceeding @ piratella.
I don't get what you're saying. He didn't exceed track limits on any of the corners that were being policed. Are you hinting at preferential treatment; cause I'm pretty sure that's not what happened.etusch wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 16:05If Ham is the man then rules are not working, this is what we are saying as you said with a different intention.Shrieker wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 15:58langedweil wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 15:56Hmm, wasn't Ham even more over the track limit than Alb ?

Completely agree. Watch 1994 Imola qualifying on YT. No one is exceeding track limits. Drivers are exceeding track limits in the modern era because they know they can get away with it.El Scorchio wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 16:04And all the above is why this non consistency in track limits is so stupid.
Did he or didn’t he? Which corner? What are the rules at that corner?
It. Should. Be. The. Same. For. Every. Corner.
It is silly but those are the rules and everyone knew about it.
Yeah I wish they'd be more consistent here. Either use the curbs or the line everywhere.Sevach wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 16:34It is silly but those are the rules and everyone knew about it.
And now they went back using the line and not the curb as reference... In my opinion Imola is a track where going wide has some level of punishment and should be left to it's own natural devices, the FIA just creates unnecessary confusion.
No it shouldnt. Most corners are “self policed”. You leave the track, you lose time. Penalty already there. The corners that are being policed are the ones where leaving the track doesnt lose but gains you time, hence why they are policed.El Scorchio wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 16:04And all the above is why this non consistency in track limits is so stupid.

Or the car is Q2 worthy, Latifi just cant drive it. No disrespect of Russel, but all the result shows is that one driver can drive that car, the other cant. Not unlike the situation at Ferrari or RedBull by the way.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 15:50George Russell putting the Williams in to Q2. And people hereabouts still doubt the lad has talent.
