Interesting jack they're using there. Perhaps this is connected with the apparent lack of a metal hook plate as was normal for most cars in the last few years?zgred wrote:

No.Onch wrote:Still convinced that the differences we see are due to the different angles/perspective, apart for the 'dummy' cameras which are missing in Jerez 1.
Also both Jerez pics are from a moving car, which could explain the narrower gap between the 2nd and 3rd elements closer to the center of the car (although the wing is not flexible, of course!)
The first R31 FW is more like a pre-Singapore 2010 wing...Blackout wrote:

'The Barcelona 3 FW' shown by madly is the new wing witch has these endplates: (top)

That's the thing, I was wondering about. Why it's not flexing yet? Is this so hard to replicate?Onch wrote:(although the wing is not flexible, of course!)
Well I am confident that the wing is flexing... It was a (poor) attempt at an ironic comment about the current situation where wings are rigid when tested while everybody can see that they are moving at speed.mith wrote:That's the thing, I was wondering about. Sadly, Madly didn't just highlighted the most important details and no, these FW are not identical. the differences are in the endplates (like I showed above), and the two upper wings.Onch wrote:My point was that I believe that the highlighted areas in the pics are all identical.Blackout wrote:No.
