Lewis Hamilton led the Qatar Grand Prix from start to finish with Max Verstappen also soon settling into second place. The action mainly happened behind them where Alonso for instance returned to the podium after 7 years.

It wouldn't matter. In all cases Hamilton can't pit because Verstappen then will NOT pit and inherit the lead. Exactly so. True, Although with many saying Saudi will suit the Mercedes, compared to here then you would have to say Merc have a chance for a very important 1-2 result.Incognito wrote: ↑21 Nov 2021, 17:35Absolutely crucial Fastest lap for Verstappen. Great result for Renault too and another solid showing for Ferrari. It's such a shame that Red Bull and Mercedes are so far in front of the other cars.
Doesn't matter. Max would have had a free pitstop to reds anyway and picked up FL..
