Could a puncture decide the race...

There could be a safety car here. Red bill will pit Verstappen for softs and it could be a race win!

I have a feeling a puncture could decide this race

Saying that, I don’t think they have enough laps now. It’ll finish under safety car.

Will Hamilton be able to take back FL from Max? Or will it need to be Bottas trying it on softs?
Depends if red bull pit second to last lap for softs, then i dont see hamilton being able to match on his mediums. But given hamiltons pace this weekend it's not completely unthinkable it could happen.
You really do have to run the kerbs to get FL so I can't see Hamilton risking it.

They realised they couldn’t move it?

It's a motorcycle track being used by F1 - the kerbs might be to blame as it's not just one team having issues.

VSC ending just after Hamilton starts his last lap and therefore can't attempt FL.

Why not just leave it there? Seems nonsensical from my armchair, how they always these days remove a car no matter what the situation is. Is it legal liability for not being as 'safe' as possible? (as if a F1 car is a worse thing to hit than a wall)

edit: Every safety decision is weighing pros and cons. The improved safety from doing this is so miniscule if not zero, it seems to not warrant disrupting the race for it. If we follow this decision as a philosophy, we have to ask if we should do other extreme measures to disrupt the race to improve safety by any means necessary. Why have a 57 lap grand prix for example... why not make it 20 laps? That would be much safer.
